The Brandvlei Kenhard route to Upington and Kgalagadi is the most remote and quiet but they are also located at such locations along the route that it is exactly where a lot of travellers would have preferred to stay over. You might wait a bit but they prepare surprisingly good quick meals. We prefer to support them as well as the Agri stop a few meters apart.The fuel station at the Windpomp restaurant can run out of fuel but the Agri -Station on the other side of town is reliable and has a very good shop. The best between Calvinia and Upington.
